ahhhh the life tides,
ebb goes out and flow comes in. never stop. we grow up so to shall my writing
winter has been a bear this year. tons of snow, ice, wind, and very cold.
spring eqinox is nearing, the clan welcomes the coming warm and relishes the time left with snow.
bleaching all maple gear is on the plate this week, this is looking to be a record maple year and we are
time for "tappin and sappin!" as mommy says :-) just finished last quart of syrup from last years haul of 3.5 gallons. the stash proved to be an awesome and healthy supplement for sugar.
thinkin last of the winter storms may finally have ran its course. we sittin deep with about 3 foot snowpack and already half into march so this will indeed be a muddy break up year. happy water table for the year!
we have seen lots of robins, and ducks / geese back around the lake, but the ice is still farrrrr from broken up.

got another 14 inches of snow and we lookin at bust of a maple syrup year :-(
clan shall learn to be beekeepers. need sustainable sugar.
